Junior Functional Analyst

Brooksource is looking for entry-level Functional Analysts to join our client in July 2025. We are hiring for multiple positions that will be part of a professional development program. Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Business or Related Field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• High level of professionalism, confidence, and ability to build credibility with team members and business partners.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate epics, features, and user stories.
• Participate in all Agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo/Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
• Facilitate meetings as needed.
• Write and execute test scripts.
• Write and execute queries in the database.
• Aid in the triage of defects during testing cycles.
• Develop and update documentation to support new/changes to procedures.
• Work with team to respond and answer questions generated by team members and business partners.
• Act as a liaison between business units and development team.
• Participates with team to establish target dates and complete activities/artifacts under changing conditions.
• Provide system support for assigned business unit or assigned application(s).
