We are a leading commercial construction cleaning company based in Indianapolis, Indiana, known for our exceptional service in post-construction cleanups of large facilities and handling major event cleanups of stadiums and venues. Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of our operations to drive our mission to deliver outstanding cleaning services with a keen eye on efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. This role is critical to our success and requires a leader who is adept at managing large-scale cleaning projects and passionate about building a cohesive and motivated team.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of our commercial cleaning operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Split time 50/50 between in-office and travel to client sites within the Central Indiana area.
  • Lead, develop, and motivate a diverse team, fostering an environment of collaboration and excellence.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and securing repeat business through outstanding service delivery.
  • Drive operational efficiencies and cost-effectiveness without compromising on service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
  • Collaborate with the senior management team to develop and implement strategic plans for business growth and operational improvement.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
  • Manage budgets and financial reporting, and work towards achieving financial targets including the management of bonus incentive programs.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing business operations with a proven track record of success, preferably in a commercial client organization.
  • Project management experience required.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing and motivating teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of building strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and competing priorities effectively
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience in budget management and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) pertinent to the cleaning industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the commercial construction industry is a plus.
