Techwish is seeking a Test Engineer for a long term contract engagement with one of it's esteemed clients in Manassas, VA. This is an onsite hybrid position that requires consultant to work 2-3 days from office.
In this role you will:
- Develop and complete automated tests to ensure the highest level of software quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure seamless integration with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Ansible, and Jenkins.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues to determine root causes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Manage test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various projects.
- Report directly to the QA Manager, providing regular updates on progress and challenges.

WE ARE SEEKING PROFESSIONALS WITH:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing or a related role.
- Proven expertise in Python scripting and automation tools.
- Strong knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Ansible, and Jenkins.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced certifications in software testing or related fields.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
