Salary: $75,000 - $85,000

Job Summary

As the Sous Chef for a premier corporate client, you will support the successful culinary operations, focusing largely on cafe and catering operations. This position requires Monday through Friday availability. This position offers holidays and weekends off, great benefits and career growth opportunities with a leading food service company!


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the successful culinary operations including planning and menu creation, preparation, cooking, service
  • Providing outstanding service to guests and clients
  • Manage a culinary team- approximately 4 hourly associates
  • Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with the marketing and culinary team.
  • Assists with managing cost controls and controlling expenditure, inventory, ordering
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of related culinary experience including supervisory experience
  • Experience in fine dining, restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
  • Knowledge of food and industry trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, safety, food cost controls, and presentation.
  • Supervisory, leadership, training, management, and coaching skills.
  • ServSafe or Department of Health Certification is preferred.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products including Excel.
  • Bi-lingual, a plus
