Location: Extensive Travel Required (Sweden & San Diego, CA)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Staff Radar Integration and Test Engineer to support the development of cutting-edge airborne radar systems. This role involves extensive travel, with an initial six-month international assignment in Sweden (working three weeks on-site and one week remote per cycle), followed by a six-month domestic assignment in San Diego, CA, operating under the same travel structure.

This position requires a strong background in radar integration and testing, as well as expertise in system engineering. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless assembly, installation, integration, and testing of advanced radar systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the assembly, integration, and testing of airborne radar systems.
• Develop a deep understanding of system-level requirements and translate them into integration and test strategies.
• Identify, procure, and validate test environments and tools.
• Develop and execute integration & verification plans in accordance with system requirements.
• Utilize automated test methodologies and frameworks in collaboration with software engineers.
• Troubleshoot system anomalies, perform root cause analysis, and recommend resolutions.
• Work within cross-functional teams across systems, software, electrical, mechanical, test, and production engineering disciplines.
• Interact with external customers and suppliers as a technical representative.
• Collaborate with global teams on advanced radar development projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Integration & Testing in a technical environment.
• Extensive experience in radar system assembly, integration, and testing (preferably airborne radar).
• Strong understanding of radar hardware and software integration.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and risk analysis skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engagement with senior leadership and customers.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD SECRET security clearance.
