KSA is looking for a Production Manager to join our new production facility in Pasadena, TX. The Production Manager will lead production unit to ensure safe manufacturing and shipment of products, in full compliance with regulatory and corporate standards and in support of business unit initiatives. This role is crucial in developing and implementing strategies to provide business units with the most competitive unit costs and service profile for the markets served. Key Accountabilities

· Remain in compliance with facility policies and procedures regarding environmental, health and safety and governmental laws

· Lead, motivate and develop organization in line with company policies

· Manages departmental personnel that include setting goals and targets, disciplinary action, training and review of subordinates in accordance with KSA policies and guidelines

· Prepare, analyze and issue production and performance reports

· Drive the spirit of continuous improvement to achieve manufacturing standards, using Lean tools, 5 S, Management of Change (MOC)

• Train and coach production staff on safe and proper execution of their responsibilities
• Responsible for product quality, non-conforming product investigation and addressing non-conforming product utilizing the corrective and preventive action system.
• Responsible for productivity and meeting production schedules. This includes shutdown, repairs and projects.
• Manages fixed costs including maintenance and repair, personnel and supplies costs.
• Interfaces with Planning and Purchasing to maintain and control raw material and finished goods inventories.
• Coordinate activities with maintenance to maximize efficiency and minimize cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or chemical engineering
• 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing or production in the specialty chemical or similar industry
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role directing a high performance, manufacturing team with measurable results and improvements
• Possess knowledge and understanding of various chemical reactions and chemical industry unit operations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in utilizing ERP systems for inventory control and production scheduling
