Pride Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Paramedic to join a dynamic team in Alamosa, CO 81101. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a supportive work environment and excellent benefits.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Paramedic to join our team and provide exceptional care in the Emergency Department. If you have a passion for helping others and the skills to deliver high-quality emergency care, we’d love to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Emergency Department, adhering to policies, procedures, and scope of practice.
• Assess patients, identify problems, and plan and implement emergency care based on priorities.
• Administer medications, IV solutions, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document patient conditions and vital signs, reporting any abnormalities promptly.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during exams and treatments.
• Ensure continuity and quality of care by completing and reviewing patient records.
• Respond promptly and effectively to all emergency situations per hospital protocols.
• Support education and training initiatives for team members on new techniques and policy updates.

Qualifications

Required Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• IV Certification

Recommended Certification:

• International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) within 6 months of hire

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of emergency medical theory, techniques, and methods.
• Ability to assess patient conditions visually and audibly to administer effective care.
• Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Physical agility and manual dexterity to perform emergency procedures.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients as required.

• Duration: Direct Hire
• Pay Rate: $41,496 - $57,928/year (Negotiable)

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
