Onward Search is seeking a dedicated and passionate School Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic school team in Wayne County, MI . This in-person opportunity is available for a full-time schedule, starting as soon as possible and continuing through the remainder of the school year.

Details You Should Know:

• Location: In-person (no virtual or hybrid option)
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday
• Hours: Weekly guaranteed hours up to 32 for full-time
• Caseload: 45 students
• Grade Levels: K-12
• Start Date: As soon as possible
• End Date: End of the 2025 school year

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations as needed to inform consultation and direct service plans.
• Provide consultation services to teachers, parents, and staff to support students' functional and academic needs.
• Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Develop and share strategies to enhance students' motor skills, sensory processing, and classroom participation.
• Collaborate with school teams to address student goals and ensure effective implementation of support strategies.
• Monitor and document progress toward therapy goals, contributing updates to IEPs as necessary.

Qualifications :

• Current Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Michigan.
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
