Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Insurance Claims Auditor to join our team. This role will focus on auditing claims related to General Liability , PIP , and Commercial Auto . Your primary responsibility will be to ensure claims are accurate, compliant with policy terms, and meet regulatory standards. You will play a critical role in identifying discrepancies, mitigating risks, and improving our claims processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Claims Review & Auditing : Audit General Liability, PIP, and Commercial Auto claims for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policy terms and industry standards.
Discrepancy Identification : Detect and report discrepancies, fraud risks, and inconsistencies in claims submissions.
Claims Settlement Evaluation : Ensure claims settlements align with industry practices, legal requirements, and company guidelines.
Collaboration : Work closely with claims adjusters, underwriters, and legal teams to resolve complex claims issues.
Reporting : Document findings and prepare detailed audit reports with insights and recommendations for process improvements.
Regulatory Compliance : Stay informed about industry regulations and standards to maintain compliance and reduce risk.
Process Improvement : Contribute to special projects aimed at enhancing claims handling and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience : Proven experience in auditing General Liability , PIP , and Commercial Auto insurance claims.
Skills :
In-depth knowledge of General Liability, PIP, and Commercial Auto policies and claims processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications : Professional certifications (AIC, CPCU, etc.) are a plus.
