Job Description

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to understand business requirements and design effective outbound campaigns and customer journeys across email, push notifications, and other channels
  • Build and execute outbound campaigns, including email, push, SMS, and other channels, ensuring seamless delivery and a consistent customer experience
  • Provide self-service guidance as well as full-service Braze support to marketing teams, depending on the complexity of the customer journey or outbound initiative
  • Manage the content creation and personalization process, working closely with copywriters, designers, and other marketing team members
  • Develop and maintain customer segments and targeting strategies to optimize campaign performance and personalization
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and provide recommendations for optimization and improvement
  • Stay up-to-date on email marketing best practices and new channel capabilities, and advocate for the adoption of emerging technologies and methodologies
  • Streamline the outbound campaign production process through automation, process improvements, and the implementation of new tools and technologies
  • Coordinate with the Global Production team, Associate Director, and Director to ensure timely delivery, appropriate resource allocation, and alignment with overall marketing priorities
  • Support Global Outbound Production Specialists in developing their understanding of tools and process as well as with issue resolution

  • Basic Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in email and outbound campaign production, specifically with Salesforce/ExactTarget or similar marketing platforms
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and email design best practices
  • Business fluency in English, both written and spoken (all locations)
  • Business fluency in Japanese, both written and spoken (if based in JP)
  • Exceptional organizational skills to efficiently deliver tasks within specified timelines during agile sprints

Preferred Skills:

  • Demonstrated interest and experience in online marketing, customer relationship management, and data-driven decision making
  • Passion for books, audiobooks, and media in general
  • Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a technical environment and proficiency with email marketing and data analytics tools
  • Knowledge of German, French, Italian, Spanish, and/or Quebec French (based on location)
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, A/B testing, and campaign optimization
