Role:
- Leverages extensive industry experience in Information Technology and Cyber Security to develop strategies and solutions that adapt to changing cyber threats over the long term.
- Works closely with all levels of Information Technology and Business team members to promote secure design and practices across the company that mitigate risks, meet business objectives and compliance/regulatory requirements.
- Provides industry expertise and innovation to support key cyber security initiatives and projects.
- Conducts research, evaluate, design, test, and implement enterprise-level cyber security solutions.
- Conducts network security controls/rules analysis, process/procedure and project documentation.
- Assists in raising the maturity level for cyber security tools, platforms and processes.
- Assists in configuration management, change control and disaster recovery processes.
- Assists in review and update of cyber security policies, architectures and standards.
- Supports in responding to audits, penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
- Supports incident management.
- Performs other cyber security related duties assigned.
- Develops technical documentation, including workflows
- Knowledge of IDS and IPS technologies and controls
Educational, Technical and Business Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 4+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience with and knowledge of security platforms used for EDR/XDR and vulnerability management.
- Experience with the CrowdStrike Security Stack is preferred. Some of the products include CrowdStrike Next-Gen SIEM, Spotlight, and Exposure Management
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple ongoing incidents and requests
- Experience and understanding of web security standards, architecture, web security best practices and application security best practices
- Familiarity with Ruby, Python, PHP, PowerShell, SQL and/or shell scripting.
- Understanding of IAM concepts, including federation, authentication, authorization, access controls, access control attacks, identity and access provisioning life cycle.
