Civil Engineer – Site Development

Location: Pelham, AL

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 DOE + Bonuses

Are you an experienced Civil Engineer with a passion for site development and new construction projects ? Our client, a well-established private civil engineering firm, is seeking a skilled professional to join their growing team. This is a prime opportunity for someone with 5+ years of private-sector civil engineering experience to step into a key role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Design and develop stormwater management, hydrology, roadways, utilities, and site grading plans.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for project design and development.
• Coordinate permitting processes with government agencies.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers while reviewing and approving design work.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Communicate directly with clients and stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of private-sector experience in site/civil engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and site development design.
• Expertise in stormwater management and hydrology.
• Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects independently.

What We’re NOT Looking For:

• Structural, environmental, or manufacturing engineers (experience not transferable).
