We are seeking a proven leader to fill the role of Chief Transformation Officer. This is a unique opportunity for a highly credible, motivated, and experienced leader to play a key role in shaping the future of Revelyst at a critical time in our journey. This role will guide Revelyst's unparalleled growth and value creation. This role requires a highly strategic and results-oriented leader with a deep understanding and proven success in transformation and a passion for the outdoor industry.

This position reports to the CEO and is based out of Providence, Rhode Island .

As the Chief Transformation Officer, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Lead Transformative Initiatives: Drive strategic initiatives with a pace and cadence that accelerate growth across all business units (Adventure Sports, Outdoor Performance, and Precision Sports Technology).
  • Build the Transformation Engine: Establish a standardized framework for identifying, prioritizing, and executing transformative projects, ensuring clear accountability and measurable results. (e.g. Transformation Office, SteerCo, Executive readouts and meetings)
  • Execute VCP – Value Creation Plan: Implement Dragonfly-wheel strategies that align with the company's strategy including pipeline, status, barriers, opportunities. Ability to narrate where we are today against future goals.
  • Foster a Culture of Innovation: Encourage and support innovation by tracking ROI on investments and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Champion Change Management: Drive the adoption of new ways of working, including processes, behaviors, and decision-making.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Establish and monitor KPIs to track the effectiveness of growth strategies, using data insights and dashboarding to refine and optimize initiatives.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including partners, peers, and direct reports.
  • Identify and Optimize Revenue Streams: Explore and develop new revenue streams while ensuring profitability and alignment with company strategy.

You have:

  • Passion for the Outdoors: A genuine interest in the outdoor industry and consumer products is essential.
  • Education: MBA or equivalent advanced degree required.
  • Experience: 15+ years of total experience, including time at a top-tier consulting firm, ideally in their transformation practice (e.g., McKinsey MT/RTS, BCG TURN). Ideally has been at least an EM / PL level.
  • Leadership: Track record of having successfully led a Transformation Office and/or PMO, knows how to follow the ‘playbook,” and knows how to overcome resistance to proven techniques.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to use data to make informed decisions and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Drive & Execution: Hardworking, credible, competitive, and disciplined with a strong motivation to achieve goals and ability to drive others. Executive presence and gravitas (holds peers and others accountable), respected by the RLT (Revelyst Leadership Team)
  • Style: Ability to work seamlessly across the organization; high level orchestration skills (knows when to push, when to pull up). Can seamlessly operate at a high level and know when to dive into details.
