Some of the opportunities involved with the Asst. Store Director position are:
• Providing and modeling outstanding customer service
• Assist with planning and directing day-to-day operations of the store.
• Work closely with all of the department managers to maintain proper stock levels, consistent department standards and proper staffing to improve customer service and drive store sales.
• Ensure customer needs are met and service is quick and efficient.
• Oversee product displays and merchandising.
• Forecast staffing needs and assist with scheduling, recruiting and training strategies to maintain optimal staffing in all departments.
• Work with store budgets to meet or exceed store goals.
• Ensure a safe working environment for all associates and customers.
• Monitor food safety practices throughout the store.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and/or 5 years experience in retail or a related area.
• Must have extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals and excel at leading and directing store associates.
• Must be proficient in MS Office programs and comfortable working with technology (computers, smartphones, apps, online shopping, etc.)
