Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in McKinney, TX. As the Assistant Production Manager at LX Artworks, you will share in the oversight of the end-to-end fulfillment of artwork and products while developing and managing wholesale and retail sales strategies. You will work closely with our Operations Manager, wholesale clients, and direct customers to ensure seamless production, packaging, and sales fulfillment. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of operational efficiency, sales expertise, and a deep appreciation for art.

This position requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to balance production workflow with customer relationship management. Compensation is flexible and dependent on experience and skill set.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Fulfillment:

• Oversee and manage the elements of the order fulfillment process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of artwork and merchandise.
• Supervise the receiving, storing, and distribution of products and materials.
• Manage packaging, framing, and assembly of artwork, ensuring the highest quality standards.
• Handle artwork with care to prevent damage and ensure safe delivery.
• Maintain an organized and efficient workflow within the production and storage areas.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking of materials and products.

Sales & Wholesale Management:

• Develop and maintain relationships with wholesale clients, ensuring long-term partnerships.
• Identify new wholesale and retail opportunities to expand LX Artworks' market reach.
• Work directly with collectors and customers to guide purchasing decisions and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist in retail store and gallery operations, including merchandising, stock replenishment, and sales execution.
• Track and analyze sales data to improve performance and implement strategic adjustments.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in business, sales, or art-related fields is a plus.
• Proven experience in production management, sales, wholesale account management, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships.
• Proficiency in inventory management and sales tracking software is a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and work in a hands-on environment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check/drug test.
